Galaxy M1. Go to whtsapp and click on right side three dot
2. Now click on Setting then click on
Account
3. now click on Privacy
4. Scroll down and in the last click on Fingerprint Lock and now turn off this

Please follow the below mentioned steps in order to resolve the issue:-
>Run the device in safe mode and check the issue.
> Do the reset app preference (setting>>apps>>three dots on the right top>>reset app preferences).
>once again reconfigure the finger lock in whatsapp (Go to whtsapp>> click on right side three dot>> Setting >> Account>>privacy>> Fingerprint Lock>> immediately).
> Do the reset settings of the device (setting>>general management>>reset>>reset setting).
