Purple Smearing on Galaxy M51

While scrolling Instagram,Youtube in Dark mode the icons or Images in Instagram especially having black or grey background fades like purple colour on the top (scrolling up)and bottom( scrolling Down).

It is not noticed while dark mode is disabled

That happens because Samsung uses Amoled screen, while your screen has black colour, every pixel is turned off..


but when you change colour (scroll)
pixel have to turn on and change colour and that take time then your device's screen refresh rate...
so you get purple fade..


in short that's mean your display has great colour accuracy that's why Samsung's amoled display is more colour and great quality...
when pixel is off it saves battery 🔋,
that's why Amoled screen is use battery then ips and lcd screen...

if you see it on day, your display has problem.

Visit Official Samsung service center..

if you see little at night is normal..
if too much, go service center

in Both cases In night at high brightness it is prominent, if i watch in day light it is not noticable too much

I am facing same issue for galaxy m51. I felt too bad because I always recommend Samsung for others if the phone shows such problems how can it will be recommend to some one. It is just three months of purchase phone showing such errors. how can it will be resolved?

It is inbuilt problem and can't be solved... You should let Samsung know about this issue. It only can be minimized.
