But it's mentioned online that all samsung device's will receive two gen updates.
It is saying that all samsung smartphones will receive 4 years of security updates

Do you realize that you just answered your own answer ?
Galaxy m11 comes with pre installed Android 10(One Ui 2.1). As per Samsung's policy it will receive 2 major updates of that 2 major updates one was the release of Android 11 (One Ui 3.1) that left us with one major update which most probably will be Android 12 or One Ui 4.0 which may rollout next year May-June
