There is no available option for changing the frequncy of hotspot from 5ghz to 2.4ghz in samsung m21. I have a laptop, and is unable to detect the hotsopt at 5ghz. Please update the option in new upcoming updates. Thank you.

Does any one know a 3rd pard app to do so. Or some settings to achive 2.4ghz hotspot.

The hotspot frequency is already 2.4 ghz. Its a bug in your device which hides hotspot from PCs and wireless lan adapters.
If you still want to change the frequency, download an app called activity launcher
link:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher
Open the app and search 'hotspot'
Tap 'wifi tether settings activity'
Select the AP band to 2.4 ghz.

Try updating the network driver of your PC/ Laptop. Control panel> Hardware and sound> Device manager > Network adapters - here you will get the name of the specific network adapter in your computer. Search for network adapter drivers for your Windows version and manufacturer (hp , Lenovo etc.). Download and install the latest driver available.

Go to Hotspot settings and select Configure..There is an option to select between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz..Hope this is useful.
