I started having the restart issue of M31.

Previously had posted it here but removed as I got fed up.
Sent a mail to Samsung CEO email.
Paid 180 got phone checked.

They blamed my phone had water damage at charging port saying it rusty and demanded to change both main and sub boards which costs around 8k.
But clearly there is no damage. Please see attached photos. It's the glue they have used. Phone charge port is intact.

Samsung clearly knows the issue is in main board and wants to charge phones out of warranty.

Please do not fall for this. Raise your voice. I have connected to a person from Customer care head office. And I will let you know what happens next.

NO ONE'S REPLYING AFTER MY MAIL, even after mailing Samsung CEO email.

I will be active on this thread.

It is very clear that they are just ripping your money, please do not heed for whatever blatant lies that they say.

The pink water indicators are still dry and they refused to accept it's main board issue, saying it's water damage and they said it's water damage at charger port. LOL

Any sane person will know that if an electrical conductor has corrosion, it will still work unless and until two different conductors make a contact via rust.
So even if the charger jacket alone corrodes, it will not cause any issue for reason above.
And here clearly the pins are inside clear non conductive material, clearly there is no corrosion.

Also another thing they push is to change both the boards even if it's just an issue in sub board (that contains charging port). So please BE AWARE of this.

Please reply to this post saying if u think it looks like corrosion or not, it might help others too if they have faced any such issue.

OK the guy called, we had an argument and blamed that my whole phone was under water. LOL

Just DON'T go for Samdung ever.

Edit:

To test the theory that it's the fault in the sub board's charging port as Samsung claimed, I tried this.
I removed the sub board and kept it aside.

So only the main board was connected to the display via the bus.
I switched on the phone and I was able to use it for just a few seconds and the phone restarted. (I just tried to change wallpaper, I did not open any user app. Long tapped on home screen and boom it's gone)

This clearly shows that the root cause of the issue is not in the sub board.

All of these prove that the issue is the main board and not the sub board, which I am pretty sure that they are trying to bury under mediocre reasons they can find.
This clearly shows that the RCA done by their service team is incorrect.

You're writing this probably from India. I have a feeling that Samsung's regional service centers are the worst. For sth or nothing they'll demand money, as if damaging the phone because of a software update isn't their fault. Sheer stupidity.
