Kindly follow the below mentioned step to improve the performance of the device:
Space availability (Storage & Internal memory): To improve the device performance there should be sufficient space. Request you to keep at least ''minimum 20% internal memory free''.
Clear cache memory of a particular application: Settings>Apps>Select particular app (e.g. Samsung Internet)>Storage>Clear Cache
For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > send feedback > error report/ask questions).
Even I'm facing the same issue. My previous phone was a OnePlus 5T. Though the M31 has better specs than the 5T it feels very slow and lagging. **bleep**, my dad's Nokia 3.1 seems much fluidic than this M31.
I bought this phone as an upgrade from my Redmi 4. Honestly, this phone is a disgrace to the 17.5k I spent on it. Terrible performance, choppy animations, so many bugs and the disregard to fix the bugs on behalf of Samsung. All they suggest is to clear cache and make sure that there is sufficient memory. If a phone can't run smoothly with more than 2 GB ram available and more than 85gb storage then it's nothing but a disappointment. Plus, this problem is not just exclusive to me. One of my friend and family member also have the same phone and they're facing the exact same problem. The M31 is a middle finger to the face from Samsung
Seriously! I too had redmi 4 before this phone and i think that small phone did better than m31. It's slow. Apps open and work very slow in this phone. Atleast it didn't happen in redmi 4.
I purchased Samsung m31 since one month back,now it is experiencing extremely slow performance......sometime it automatically shutdown and not starting after power on.....it takes around 1 hour to switch on it.....other features are good.
But as compared to Redmi this phone is worst.....slow performance
