You're correct that the Galaxy M12 launched in India in March 2021. Samsung’s policy at that time committed to four years of security updates for devices in the M-series—a promise that still applies today . Four years from March 2021 brings us to March 2025, not 2026. So, unfortunately, the M12 doesn’t qualify for updates beyond that.
