Locking apps without S-Secure app

I'm posting this because many users don't know it and complain that S-Secure can be uninstalled, leaving your apps vulnerable. But there is a more secure way to lock apps.

You can use Nova Launcher or any Activity Manager app to access it. Just click on the option shown in the screenshot and you're good to go.

This is the same option as in S-Secure app and you don't need to worry about someone uninstalling the S-Secure app.

Thank you 😊. It works without S Secure app. This is pre-installed S secure as a feature.

I have Installed nova launcher but can find activities. can you please help ?

Long press on home screen and select widgets

yes ... but there is no 'activity' as you have mentioned. In the setting I can find the above mentioned app lock icon by searching it in the search bar but can't find it in widgets section

When I click on widgets, the Nova widgets are the 1st option.
