Is it safe to install the android 10 update in m30s?

I was using m30 before android 10 update and it was working very smooth. Since android 10 update the phone becomes very laggy and this update defeated my sole purpose of purchasing a new phone because my last phone was not behaving properly. 

Now I have a pending update in my m30s and I don't want it to become like my m30 after update.

So I'm asking that it is safe now to install update or should I wait more for Samsung to fix everything?

Wait for the patches bro. The update consists of many bugs. Not worth it. Many features like zoom and flash on 48 Mp mode, motion wallpaper, hotspot for LAN adapters and laptops are removed....Not to mention the heating problem and app crashes.
Also, there are not any imp features that were added.

Totally depends upon the policy of samsung. Also some of the features may be taken down knowingly to increase the feature gap between M series and more expensive A series(full oneui version devices), so they might never come back. There are many people who've knowingly refused to update to oneui2 for this sole reason, and many would be found in this community too. 9 or 10 dosent make a huge difference unless 9 becomes too outdated, until which a more stable 10 update will be provided by the company(hopefully)
TL;DR: Oneui2 update isnt worth it, try sticking to oneui till you want to lose many useful features.

It is always better to update for apps to function even though it might have bugs.
