please don't waste ur time calling Samsung customer care . They wil treat badly and say no free screen replacement and also won't admit samsungs faulty software issue. Instead they are asking and persuading to pay for the display replacement saying it's a electronic device so these things will happen .. please check the below message from a customer who had faced similar issue..

I had this problem with my M52 last year due the software update of security patch level August 1, and I'm getting the screen of my m52 replaced for free. It's currently in the service center for repair. This post will definitely help you:

Just make sure that you visit the service center and get a job sheet number for your device regarding this issue. After that, download National Consumer Helpline app from play store and create a grievance. After submitting the grievance, you will receive a call from Samsung within the next day or two days after you've submitted your grievance. Do all of these within 30 days after you generate a job sheet number since the job sheet number is available for 30 days only and you'll have to get a new one if things are not done on time.

My samsung s22 has started getting green lines from October 2024 . Intially it started with one green line and has increased to 4 lines ( 3 green and 1 pink line) in a span of 2- 3 weeks .
I have reached out to Samsung chat service first , for fixing the issue of green line and asking for their assistance. and interacted with one associate from samsung on chat who insisted me to update to the latest software version where i was hesitated to update the phone , as i assumed the green line was due to the update i had done earlier. As the associate confirmed updating to latest software will repair the green line issue i updated . This update not only didnt fix my issue but has increased the lines to 5 now.
I reached many times to the customer care on call and esclated and was treated very badly by few ladies claiming as supervisors . They told me many senseless things like its an electronic device so such things wil come so samsung cannot gurantee anything .samsung policy dont allow them to give display replacement . The reason of green line might be i have dropped the phone . As i told its after the update , they mentioned samsung will not give any repair service as your phone is out of warranty. They told that since my phone is out of warranty i should pay for screen replacement . The names of supervisors who behaved and spoked rudely are mounika , Monisha , Hema.When i asked them i need some higher authotity whi can help, These ladies told they are the higher authority and noone will help me in samsung with this issue.. As per their instructions i visited the samsung service center after travelling 1 hour from my place to create job sheet on 30 oct 2024 and contacted customer care again only to hear that if u want display pay money and change. As per samsung policy we cannot do even if its after software update. The samsung service center told me that my device is in good condition and shared me the bill no .

The customer care after me creating the job sheet still not able to admit and stick to their policy saying my phone is out of warranty and i need to pay . After i making multiple calls and escalting a lady called Hema claiming to higher authority is asking again baseless and senseless reasons first she told she need 5-6 workig days to validate my case and when i asked what more u need to validate ,as i have inspected my phone is samsung authorised center and all details should be their in the system .she told very rudely if u want solution wait 3_4 days else pay for the screen . Also she asked me to share her the invoice as she need to check if i am the owner. I told her i have purchased from samsung website itself online nad not any shop and is been registered a customer . I have told to her collect from the system as they should have all my details to which She poke very rudely that its not her job , she is higher authority and disconnected the call.. i have now registerd compliant with national cinsumer helpline and will soon post the updates.
