- I'm facing the issue of display turning into grey on my Samsung galaxy M51 after the July 2023 security patch update which is the last security update for this model.
- I have also emailed on Samsung support regarding the same
- If this problem is not solved free of cost from their side as it's completely the fault of the company by giving a buggy last security update (as it's for many individuals and it shows that this is completely for business purpose so that the users scrap their old phone to upgrade to a new one) , then I swear I won't buy any Samsung product in the future nor I would let buy any of my relatives and friends any of the Samsung product
- I thought Samsung is the company with ethics but after experiencing this I think my thought was totally false

I went to the authorised service centre today and they are telling me that it's completely my fault and I have damaged the phone. They are not even ready to acknowledge that there is an issue after their software update. This behaviour is very arrogant from a company like Samsung. They are not even ready to acknowledge that there may arise a fault from their side with a bug in security patch update.

Samsung India should look into this issue as Samsung M51 is the most famous M series phone and lakhs of people have purchased it. If this issue arises on a mass scale then none of the existing users will upgrade to a Samsung phone in future.

Exactly bro...... Mera bhi phone mein 2.5 years se chala raha hu , ye July 2023 update ke pehle tak ekdum badiya chal raha tha.......ye update mein hi bug tha....... But the sad part is that the company is not even ready to accept ki unke software update mein koi bug hai 😠

Mujhe to July me hua hi problem.. lekin uske pehle wale update se same problem ho raha hai.. samsung customer care walo ne paise leke hardware khol diya.. software issue hote hue bhi.. very disappointing.. expecting a resolution asap as it's been a long time that I am using this phone in such a miserable condition.

This happened with me today.. Previous 2 times it was flickering of screen.. Today the screen seems like some filter applied to it.. very unfortunate.. I will not buy a Samsung ever again and also ask relatives to refrain from buying Samsung Mobiles. The service center people tell these issues as Hardware issues and open the phone when it is not even needed. It's evident that its a software issue and by looking at all these concerns raised on Community of similar issues, it's confirm that Samsung doesn't care about their customers at all..

Ye software issue nhi hh maine apna phone bas android 11 tak hi update kiya tha aur mere phone me bhi yahi problem shuru ho gya exactly 2.5 years  ke baad, software issue toh resolve ho jata hh aaram se lekin ye issue low quality hardware material ke wajah se hai aur ye software issue se bhi jyada kharab hota, samsung ne hum sab logo ko chuna lagaya hh ab se please samsung ka ek bhi product mat lena.

No sadly we cannot downgrade (uninstall) updates once installed in phones like we can do with laptops
