Please follow the below mentioned steps in order to resolve the issue:
> Check whether Internet is working properly or not.
> Perform the reset app preference (setting>>apps>>three dots on the right top>>reset app preferences).
> Run the device in safe mode and check the issue.
> Check the internal storage of the device and clean it (Setting> Device Care>Storage> clean now)
For further assistance, register your concern in the Samsung members app (Open Samsung members app>click on “+“icon>send feedback>Error report/ Ask Questions).

Galaxy MYes, I'm also facing the same issue on my Galaxy M30, M30s, and M21.
Once I had commented in the google play store for the google maps. I got a reply from them that, This is a known issue and we are working on this. This reply I got almost six months ago, but still, the issue persists.
Let's wait more or you can give a single star rating to the app with escalating the same issue to them.
