Blackout issue on my galaxy m51

I have been facing this problem for 2 days straight. The day before yesterday the screen of my m51 suddenly blackout while using facebook. It remained blackout for 1-2 minutes. Then yesterday morning i woke up and got my phone in my hand and had the same issue. The display was not responding but when i placed my fingerprint i heard the unlocking sound. Again i pressed the lock button and heard the lock sound. After sometime the screen was awaken. Yesterday evening the blackout issue remained for almost 2 hours. The screen just getting light and again getting blackout. I thought this was a software issue so when the display was awake i went to setting and updated it to android 12. Today morning i faced the same blackout issue again. Now i am very dissapointed at this issue. Experts please kindly give solution to this problem.

N.B- I diagonised the proximity sensor it was normal. So, no screen protector problem.

Same here for my a71. It was after the last android update. I think its a firmware issue. Samsung please update

No bro..its display issue. I spent $100 for display replacement.

How display become damaged without doing anything? My phone was working perfectly. But i noticed the issue after the last update. Iam messaging on the same phone, but it may go off shortly. Then i have to wait a 5 minutes to get the black screen gone.

I faced same issue you are facing now. At first, it will go for short time than after 1/2 weeks it will go permanently. I went to their official servicing centre,they said it's a display issue,they had to change the display. I also can't understand how a display can be damaged without falling or major crack !

It is actually called black screen of death..common among galaxy users

I reset my phone after the temporary light on/off problem started and for sometime i got relief. Then 10/12 days later the light went permanently but my phone was working. I got calls but the light was off. Then i had to change the display.

Ok. My problem actually is the screen gets off in the middle of something or even donot turn on. After waiting some time of 10 seconds or upto 15 minutes,It turns on. The cycle repeats...
