Samsung M31s battery overheats a looottt while charging. And charging speed also decreased a lot. It used to charge 0-100 in around 2hrs, now only upto 59 in 2hrs. That is a significant lose of time.

Check it once whether fast charging is enable or not. As your battery is heating so try changing your charger to check whether there is no fault in charger. If the problem remains on your phone they contact your nearest customer care

yeah didnt use my phone for almost 3hrs. but it's super hot like lava.

go to the service center otherwise it can catch fire

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. To resolve "charging" issue still kindly follow the given below steps:-

 

>>Charge the device in switch off condition:- Kindly follow the standard charging procedure. i.e; please charge the device in switch off condition for a minimum of 10 minutes.

If not resolved:- (Removable battery) – Kindly remove the back panel of your device and check the physical condition (Bulge, Swelling or visible damage).
If the physical condition is not good:- Request you to turn off the device immediately and please do not try to charge or tamper the battery also request you to visit service center immediately.
