Hey all, just a heads up, is it just me or is the Samsung M35 has an Auto Brightness issue?

The sensor works fine 1 hour after restart and then stops woking from then. It's been irritating as I can't even see the screen in the scorching heat and I have to find a shade to toggle the brightness manually. And **bleep** even the AOD is dependent on the Auto Brightness sensor , for which I manually turned off the AOD Auto Brightness feature and set it at max.

Any reasons and solutions are welcome.

Thanks! 😄

Frustrating Auto Brightness issues can be really annoying, especially in bright sunlight.

Here are some potential solutions to help resolve the Auto Brightness issue on your Samsung M35:

Software-Related Solutions
1. *Restart your device regularly*: Since the sensor works fine for an hour after restart, try restarting your device more frequently to temporarily resolve the issue.
2. *Disable and re-enable Auto Brightness*: Go to Settings > Display > Auto brightness, toggle it off, wait for a few seconds, and then toggle it back on.
3. *Update your device's software*: Ensure your device is running the latest software. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Hardware-Related Solutions
1. *Clean the ambient light sensor*: Dirt, dust, or debris might be blocking the sensor. Clean the sensor gently with a soft cloth.
2. *Check for physical damage*: Inspect your device's screen and sensor area for any physical damage or scratches.

Additional Tips
1. *Use a third-party Auto Brightness app*: Consider using a third-party app, like Lux or Auto Brightness, which can provide more customization options and potentially resolve the issue.
2. *Contact Samsung support*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, reach out to Samsung support for further assistance.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the Auto Brightness issue on your Samsung M35.
