J7 Prime won't receive Pie update as it's eligible only till Oreo update. Because Samsung provides only two major Android upgrades and J7 Prime came with Marshmallow, so it have already received Nougat and Oreo. So there's no Pie update for J7 Prime.
samsung provides only two android update for its smartphone. In case of j7 prime , samsung already provided two major android update - Android 7(Noghat) And Android 8(Oreo).
but In case of j7 prime 2 which comes with android 7, will get two update oreo and pie.
