just saw j7 prime 2 in one of the relaince digital store.. its got the same hardware specification,everything same from camera to processor... but device was running on android os 7.1.1 and samsung experience 8.5. The catalogue says that it is upgradable to android 8.0. Samsung being partial to j7 prime..why???

The current OS version of Galaxy J7 prime 2 is 7.1.1 where as J7 prime is running on 7.0. The software updates are released phase by phase for the device via FOTA. The availability of the update would be notified to you via FOTA notification (settings> software update>Enable automatic download updates). We appreciate your patience with this.
