back and recent key not functioning

I have a j7 max... it fell in water .. the mic was not functioning but the back and recent were functioning properly.. afterwards I gave it in service centre and they repaired the mic but after that whenever I restart my mobile they automatically respond and sometimes not work... when I asked in the same service centre they said that we are supposed to change the motherboard and it costs rs8000. What can I do.... can I give to local mobile stores or the same service centre. I need public opinion

instead of spending Rs 8000 to repair and still it can't be said that all will be fine after repairing, just go for new device.
