Samsung has broken the rules of software Updates of itself. Only one major update is rolled out ( Android 8/ Orio) after launching galaxy J7 Max where as minimum three major Updates are expected to be rolled out.

In 2019 samsung announced that only models of 2019 and after that devices will receive 3year android and 1 year of security update. Your device is eligible for only 2 year android update. That's all.
Only one major update is rolled out. Note it carefully. Naugat was running at the time of launching, and then only one major update ( Android 8)was rolled out for SAMSUNG Galaxy J7 Max. Why? Just tell me. It's not a cheap handset! I purchased the device for Rs. 17900/-
