I couldn’t find any definitive date for when the update” One UI 8 / Android 16) will arrive globally for the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G.

Here’s what is known so far:

Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 16 / One UI 8 update to the South Korean variants of the M15 (called Wide 7) with firmware versions ending in “CYI6”.

The official Samsung India One UI update schedule shows Galaxy M15 5G listed under “October 2025” for its One UI upgrade.

Samsung’s own schedule for One UI upgrades (for India) also lists the M15 5G under “June 2025” for upgrade — though that may reflect internal or partial availability or a target, rather than the fully global rollout.

As of now, the M15 is currently on Android 15 / One UI 7 in many regions.

Reports suggest Samsung will gradually roll out One UI 8 to older devices after July 25, 2025.

My Estimate & What to Do

Based on the above, it’s likely that the global rollout of One UI 8 (Android 16) for Galaxy M15 5G will happen around October 2025, though some regions (like South Korea) are already seeing it.
