Rooting doesn't brick u r device when done correctly

But here's the catch
* u konx won't work after Root
* u cant use securefolder and samsung pay , and apps that require Knox to run

Don't know but rooting is never a good option,

Whatsapp recently announced that they won't support the rooted device ,

Root u r secondary phone , not the primary phone ,

If you root, the first thing to do is flash custom rom. J7 Max has Mediatek processor, so there isn't any custom rom. It's not worth it, considering you cannot use Secure Folder anymore, Netflix, banking apps and more.
