how to change the sd card as default storage path in samsung j7 max ?

You can not. But go to Setting>Apps>Storage for each application. If permitted you can change storage location for that perticular application. While some application gives option in their seting which you have to view for each of them.

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your query. We would like to inform you that the default storage can not be change. However you can move the application to SD card and its upcoming new content will be saved to SD card.
- Navigate to Apps -> Smart Manager/device maintenance -> Storage -> Move to Memory Card.
- All the saved or stored Social Network content will move to memory card of the respective application.
- Apps supporting Internal Storage saver: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Hike, Imo and Jio Chat.
- Also, Upcoming new content will be saved to memory card directly.

NOTE: If you have removed the memory card, then by default content like apps, photos, video and etc. were not visible as they are moved to memory card and temporarily it has been removed by you.

after navigating to storage i cannot find an option "move to memory card":(
