factory reset is always good but don't forget to backup your device before doing that

before factory data reset you should back up ur data using samsung smart switch apk which is available on google play store .as during back up process smart switch does not charge any data the whole backup process can perform offline.you can perform by the help of memory card ,pendrive etc using smart switch application

Factory reset is a best method to avoid any bugs or problems so far...so I advise a factory reset and clear the system cache after the android version upgrade....
