I've just purchased a new battery but the phone is causing issues. When i charge it 100% sometime it shows 2 days and 11 hrs left and sometimes it shows 1 day and 10 hrs left on same battery percentage and also in diagnostics , it is showing action required in battery status .can anyone tell me that should I replace the battery or keep using it ?

Drain your battery to 0%. Then charge it again from 0 to 100%. Make sure, you are using genuine battery and charger..

Its better to change the battery . There might be problem of battery. Original battery comes with 6months replacement warranty.

When you facing problems about battery draining issue, please follow the steps:

1) Bring out the SIM card you don't use.
2) Switch off Wi-fi, GPS and bluetooth if you don't use.
3) Don't increase brightness more than normal.
4) Set the screen timeout less than 1 minute.
Settings> Display> Screen timeout
5) Uninstall the unused apps.
6) Keep the background running apps in sleep
Settings> Device care/ Device maintenance> Battery> Save power
5) Put the phone in charge when the battery level in 20%-25%
6) Don't overcharge the phone when the charge will be completed.
7) Switch off Mobile data when you don't use your phone.

Also, you can replace your battery.
