Harmukh trek is considered as one of the beauteous journeys of Kashmir. The Mount with a peak elevation of 16,870 ft, a part of Himalaya Range is situated in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is mostly climbed and easily accessible from the northwestern side through Bandipora District. One needs to board a cab from Arin upto Kudara, the last motorable village covering distance of 17 Kms hereafter 18 kilometers of high altitude alpine trek prompts Meenmarg, the base of Harmukh.
