Last night, I stepped out after reaching home from office, to capture the beauty of the moon, and the view did not disappoint. In the first shot, the moon hung low over the city, glowing softly behind a thin veil of clouds. The high-rise apartments stood tall, their windows glowing like tiny stars. Below, a small playground buzzed with life as children were playing football under the bright floodlights, adding a touch of warmth to the otherwise calm night.
But I wasn’t satisfied with just that—I wanted to see the moon up close. So, I zoomed in, isolating it from everything else. The second shot was exactly what I was hoping for: a crisp, detailed view of the moon, its craters and textures standing out against the black sky. Seeing it this way, so raw and unfiltered, felt almost surreal.
Out of curiosity, I wanted to check whether my phone was using AI enhancement to overlay a pre-rendered moon image. To test this, I zoomed in on a round light source with the same settings. The result made it clear—the phone wasn’t simply overlaying an AI-generated moon; it was genuinely capturing the details.
From a busy cityscape to a quiet night at the terrace, it was a perfect night for photography.
