You can take macro shots by either using the macro lens or by using digital zoom. Using digital zoom is fairly easy, just click on the zoom button (2x, 3x, etc) and focus.
To use the macro lens, you should change to macro lens(swipe through the options shown on the bottom of your camera ui, look for macro mode. Or open the more options to find the macro mode). Then move the device closer to the object to attain focus. That's it.
