This photo was taken at 5 AM on 7th March, 2021 during my Uttrakhand trip. The photo shows Har Ki Pauri Market at Har Ki Pauri which is the holy river bank where Ganges touches the plains after paving its ways through the Himalayan ranges. Visitors flock along this pious ghat around dawn to take a holy dip during the Aarti. Rudraksh bracelets, shankhas, malas, clothes, materials that are used in Hindu worship rituals, copper and brass idols of Hindu deities, toys etc. are sold in this market.
