I am a bit uncertain about the advantages of the 50MP mode on my Galaxy S24. Could you perhaps clarify when it would be preferable to the standard 12MP setting?

• 12MP = Speed & Low Light: Quick, everyday shots, night photos, social media pics.
• 50MP = Detail & Crop: When you want maximum sharpness, big prints, or may crop the photo later.
Shortcut memory:
• Ask yourself: “Do I want to zoom/crop or just share fast?”
• Zoom/crop → 50MP
• Just share → 12MP
Basically, 12MP is your “default, safe mode,” and 50MP is your “power mode” for detail-heavy shots.
