Could you help with the settings you used ? And was it completely dark when you took the picture or some lighting around?

You need to have expert RAW. Open the app. Select picture quality as RAW. Then select a long exposure shot. Minimum 4 minutes. And yes the place needs to be completely dark. No light pollution should be there. Else you won't get the milky way trails.

If you want to use pro mode,
Select aperture at least as possible. F 1.8 is the best in case of S23 series or you may set it to F 2.8 too. ISO 3200 or more. Shutter speed about 10-30 seconds. Place needs to be complete dark. No light.
