Galaxy FoldFrom an OEM perspective however, it means slightly more complexity re code to manage an external storage [not overly strenuous, but def additional], and the possible loss of revenue from the higher costs chargeable at original/initial sale, when a user chooses a larger storage option in a non-SD-slot device.
Re Suggestion 2: I do understand your point but that's very unlikely to happen. USB-C ports are durable, can support higher wattages & speeds, and are more compact. In the past Samsung has shipped USB C to A adapters [which also support OTG]. These can be purchased online. Also, given some governmental mandates [such as the EU] re cross-device compatibility for chargers, etc, OEMs are standardizing around USB-C [for phones, laptops, etc].

Galaxy FoldThank you for the feedback! I completely understand the benefits of moving to USB-C, especially with its durability and speed. However, I personally find it inconvenient to carry adapters, as most of my flash drives are still USB-A. Having a native port would simplify things for users like me who rely on this older standard.
Thanks again for considering my suggestions!
