Samsung Galaxy devices offer powerful customization options to make your phone truly yours. Whether you want a fresh look, better functionality, or unique personalization, here’s a complete guide to customizing your device:

🔥 1. Dynamic Wallpapers & Video Backgrounds

Make your home and lock screens lively with dynamic wallpapers or even video clips! With One UI 5+, you can set a slideshow of your favorite images or a short video clip as your lock screen.

🔹 How to Set:
1️⃣ Long-press the lock screen and tap Wallpapers.
2️⃣ Choose Gallery and select multiple photos or a video.
3️⃣ Tap Done to apply.

🌙 2. Always On Display (AOD) Personalization

Customize your AOD with different clock styles, GIFs, stickers, or even AR emojis!

🔹 How to Customize:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Always On Display.
2️⃣ Tap Clock Style and choose Image clock.
3️⃣ Add an emoji, sticker, or custom image.

💡 3. Edge Lighting for Notifications

Instead of pop-up notifications, use Edge Lighting for a smooth, stylish effect around the screen edges when receiving messages.

🔹 How to Enable:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > Notifications > Brief pop-up settings.
2️⃣ Tap Edge lighting style and pick an effect.

🎨 4. Good Lock: The Ultimate Customization Toolkit

Samsung’s Good Lock app unlocks advanced customization features. Install it from the Galaxy Store and explore:

Home Up – Customize the home screen, folders, and recent apps.
Theme Park – Create custom themes with colors matching your wallpaper.
LockStar – Modify the lock screen layout and shortcuts.
KeysCafe – Customize the Samsung Keyboard with unique styles and animations.
NavStar – Change navigation buttons and gestures.
QuickStar – Redesign the Quick Panel and status bar icons.

📌 5. Custom Icon Packs & Third-Party Launchers

Want a completely new UI? Use icon packs and launchers like Nova Launcher or Niagara Launcher for a fresh experience.

🔹 How to Apply Custom Icons:
1️⃣ Download an icon pack from the Google Play Store.
2️⃣ Install a custom launcher like Nova Launcher.
3️⃣ Apply the icon pack from the launcher settings.

⚙ 6. Widgets & Edge Panels for Quick Access

Widgets let you check information at a glance, while Edge Panels provide instant access to apps, contacts, and tools.

🔹 How to Enable Edge Panels:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > Display > Edge Panels.
2️⃣ Enable it and select the panels you need.

🌈 7. Dark Mode & Color Palette Matching

Make your UI sleek and stylish with Dark Mode and a matching Color Palette.

🔹 How to Apply:
1️⃣ Dark Mode – Go to Settings > Display > Dark Mode.
2️⃣ Color Palette – Go to Settings > Wallpaper & style > Color Palette and select your preferred colors.

🔧 8. Advanced Tweaks with Developer Options

For those who love deep customization, Developer Options allow:
Faster animations – Reduce animation scale to 0.5x for a smoother experience.
Higher screen content density – Adjust DPI settings to fit more content.

🔹 How to Enable:
1️⃣ Go to Settings > About phone > Software information.
2️⃣ Tap Build number 7 times to unlock Developer Options.
3️⃣ Find it in Settings > Developer Options.

Today my personailzed dynamic wallpapers automatically reverted to default setting and now I am unable to change setting of the dynamic wallpapers to personalise it using pictures from my gallery. Someone please tell me what's going on and why has this suddenly happened without any prior information and how can I choose my own photos in dynamic wallpaper like before with 15 pictures?

Restart your phone to check if it’s a temporary glitch. Then, update your phone by going to Settings > Software Update, and also update Samsung Themes & Wallpaper and Style from the Galaxy Store. Try enabling it again by going to Settings > Wallpaper and Style > Change Wallpaper > Wallpaper Services and see if you can still select your own images. If the option is missing, Samsung may have removed it in a recent update. In that case, you can use third-party apps like "Dynamic Wallpaper" or "Wallpapers by Google" to rotate wallpapers from your gallery.
