Hey! Go to settings > Developers option > Wi-Fi Scan throttling. Enable Wi-Fi Scan throttling by moving toggle towards right. This saves battery & improves network performance. Hope this solves your problem. See the following screenshot.

Hey! Slow network happens for many reasons including slow/inefficient network switching. If this is your problem, then go to "Developers option" & enable "Mobile data always active" mode/feature. This shall speed up network switching. Then, your network shall become fast.
