Secure folder seperate?

If i install a malicious app that contains a virus, will my original device data outside the secure folder also stand compromised? Or only data i side secure folder is compromised?

Test such things in Vmware on laptop ....or on friend's mobile/laptop

There is very less chance of a virus attack on Android. So don't worry and use your phone. Android platform is based on Linux platform which is safe from virus.
