There are many factors that can cause phone to heat, like what's the room temp, are you using the phone outdoors or indoors, what kind of phone cover/skin are you using, what kind of apps and how long do you use it once. Most of times it is our usage which causes heat, could be a manufacturer's issue as well but still you've to check the above mentioned points.
