Last night at around 2:30 a.m. (1st August 2022), my F42 gets a notification for an update available which is Android 12 and the update consists OneUI 4.1 and July Security Patch.
The update file size is around 2124 mb. Try to download the same over WiFi if possible.
Extra Dim feature is now available. But no screen recorder option came up with the update.
Color pallet is also available now.
One thing I have noticed after updating to Android 12, that, whenever I am opening the Google App (in leaning position), its Discovery page is getting auto rotated to landscape view even if the Auto Rotation option is disabled from the Quick Panel. I don't know why this is happening. Whoever updated their F42 to the Android 12 version, kindly check and confirm the same please.
I keep auto rotation option to "Portrait" always but before going to sleep last night, when I was checking the Google Discovery feed, it was getting rotated to landscape view when I was leaning side way. And I have checked with other apps, but seems like the issue is happening with only Google App.
