I felt my phone was charging slowly. So I downloaded accubattery app to be able to see details. My phone charged from 6% to 15% in about 20 minutes at just 7 watts. At 15% it jumped to 21 watt for two minutes. Then suddenly it went back to 7 watts it was charging at before. Why is this happening? Has samsung capped the charging speed from the software?

Then do a backup of ur device through smartswitch. Then reset the device.
Still not working then there is a issue with sub board, visit the service centre.

No issues on my F62, just check your charging cable or type c port. In case if you didn't do a factory reset after UI 5.0 update then recommended to do it.

Hi, I was facing the same issue where the charging speed was restricted to 6.9W - 7.1W. I don't know if this is a glitch or Samsung deliberately did this but I found a trick to charge the phone faster.

Connect your charger, then go to settings - battery & device care - battery -  more battery settings - turn off fast charging then turn on again.

You'll see the charging speed will increase to around 19W - 21W. As far as i've seen this may vary from 15W also. I also used AccuBattery to check the charging speed. It worked, but there's a catch if the phone is locked or screen is of then the charging speed is reduced to 7W.
