Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

To resolve the screen flicker issue follow the below steps :
1: Adjust the Display brightness, follow the below step
Step1: Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings.
Step2: Tap on Display.
Step3: Adjust the brightness.

If the issue still persists then Reset the device settings by navigating to Settings >> General Management >> Reset >> Reset Settings.

If the issue still not resolved then Update device software (If available )

Setting >> Software update >> Check for Software update >> Download if available.

If the issue still not resolve then reset the phone. ( Please make sure you have back up of your important files in Samsung cloud before resetting the device)

Backup and Factory Data reset
Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or Smart Switch PC Suite and reset the device through below steps:-

Setting > Backup and Reset > Factory data reset OR Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.
Note:- Kindly remove Google account configured in the device before resetting through below steps:-
Settings > Accounts > Google > Tap on account > Click on more option at top right corner > Tap on Remove Account OR Settings > Cloud and Accounts > Accounts > Google > Clock on three dots in top right corner of screen > Remove Account.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Dear Samsung, Kindly look into matter to solve this bug or glitch since all GALAXY F62 users are facing this reddish brown screen instead of complete pitch black colour. This is not a problem of display but some software issue as all users are reporting the same issue on this platform of SAMSUNG MEMBERS over the past 2 months after the latest update. Waiting for prompt reply. Hi. I had the same maroon colour issue instead of black. On my note 20 5G a day ago. Restarting did not work. I had to switch the phone off wait for 15 seconds and switch it on. It showed maroon when switching on and it became black again. It was back to normal until today i saw the maroon again just for a few seconds when using the finger print.

 

Black shows as maroon and the entire phone has a very light purple hue when brightness is increased. When brightness is reduced it gets back to normal. I did see the screen flicker onece (1st time it became maroon colour) 

 

I have not dropped this device and there is no water damage (i have not put the phone in water). I dont use it on high brightness as well. 

 

And no i do not have power saving on and i do not have eye comfort sheild on. The device is running on vivid colour (all.my samsung devices are on vivid) and i have not turned on any extra high res colours or any setting. No bed time mode or any other setting is on either.

 

I am using dark mode. But this issue when it happened did not resolve when i used light mode either. (I had to switch the phone off and on again)

 

I am using android 13 one UI 5.1 the latest and final update for this phone. 

 

Please give us a solution to this or at least give us a valid reason as to why this is happening. Thanks.
