Dear developer!

I have a concern about an applock called S Secure developed by Samsung R&D

This applock is not working in samsung galaxy F62

Applock is important aspect of smartphones

Although we have secure folder but with secure folder we can not lock messages apk or phone dialer or gallery etc

Kindly enable s secure applock for samsung galaxy  F62

I think the logic goes like this, if you are already unlocking your phone via fingerprint/pin/password, then why again have lock in dialer/gallery etc. Example, if you are already entering your house by unlocking the main door then why again lock/unlock the kitchen/bedroom or any other room.😁😁
But i agree, samsung should give app lock. This is basic feature...

Because if you are giving the device to someone else for basic things like calling, you don't want them to access your other apps or files.
Just because you let visitors sit in the living room doesn't mean that you will let them to bedroom, right?

Thanks, but these days everyone has phone. When you are giving your phone to someone do it with your own risk. Besides we should stay away from that person who sees your gallery in the name of calling. Privacy should be respected. Not everything can be done by technology, we have to use our own brains. But yes i agree that app lock feauture should be there. Peace...

You are contradicting yourself. Acc to your arguments (which I don't agree), app lock should not be there.

The point is that you don't know who is that person who checks your privacy. People won't announce it, they do it discreetly. Leave that, may be your frnds are saints. But why do you think Secure Folder is there in Samsung? Why is there app locks in all other Androids?

There are many examples but I will give you two. Consider that you gave your phone to a friend for viewing a photo or something, and then you receive a private message. Even if he don't want to read it, it will be in the notification shade and he will read it naturally if it's not locked by an app lock.
Similarly, if you are giving your phone to kids, you may not want them to access several apps for obvious reasons.
Yes we have to use our own brains and not everything can be spoonfed to makw people understand simple arguments.

But s secure is useless when it comes to security. Anyone can uninstall it without giving password. So having it is as good as having no lock. But you can fool kids and grand parents with that. 👍

Because F62 have Knox. So you can use secure folder.
