storage issues

Samsung please enable the adaptable storage option for galaxy a710fd and other series of phones too.
. 16gb of internal storage is no way enough for the current app sizes and data

At this point, Samsung does not plan to add the adoptable storage option to its range of devices as we believe that the customer would like to have an option to have their SD card portable. [1]

[1] Adoptable storage prevents the SD card from being used normally, and removal of the card from the phone will lead to severe issues.

Currently, we do offer the option to port applications to the SD card manually, which can be a workaround in this case.

the option to port applications to SD card works but when the app gets updated it gets transferred to default internal storage. I keep a suggestion that please provide that option and let the users select if they want to enable or not... I am facing this issue currently only because of increased app size... so please Samsung provide the option.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
The application moving back to internal storage space occurs due to the default behaviour of Google Play Store when installing apps.

you can move your apps to sd card on A7 2016 noughat as it is possible on last android but on noughat update they hide the option to enable in developers mode first. then you can move apps

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your query. We would like to inform you that the device storage can be optimize by the moving apps to SD card.
Kindly go to Apps -> Smart Manager/device maintenance -> Storage -> Move to Memory Card.
NOTE: If customer have removed the memory card, then by default content like apps, photos, video and etc. were not visible as they are moved to memory card and temporarily it has been removed by customer
