documents in my files app not shows my file

I have download some pdf through chrome. But it was not showing in documents in my file app. However it was located in download folder in internal storage. Can anyone give solution ?

Open My Files>Settings>turn on Show hidden files option>Go to Internal Storage>Search for a .nomedia file and delete it.And then check the issue.

i tried what you suggest but problem did not resolve

got the same problem . I have to transfer them to a new folder from downloads to 1 I created for my work payslips. Then they show under documents. 

Used to work fine on my last phone s8+ s20 is starting to bug me
