🇮🇳 1. Regional Testing and Customization

Each region (like India, Europe, UAE, etc.) has slightly different:

Firmware builds (CSC codes such as INS for India, EUX for Europe, etc.)

Carrier requirements (even if you use an unlocked phone)

Local app bundles (Samsung Wallet, Pay, Galaxy Store, regional language packs, etc.)

Before rolling out in India, Samsung tests stability with these local additions to avoid bugs.

---

🌍 2. Staged Rollouts

Samsung never releases major updates to all regions at once.
They roll them out in waves, starting with smaller markets (like parts of Europe) to monitor:

Battery performance

App crashes or bugs

Server load

If any issue arises, they pause or delay rollout for larger regions — India being one of the biggest, often gets updates in Wave 2 or Wave 3.

---

⚙️ 3. Government and Security Compliance

In India, Samsung must comply with:

CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) security policies

Local network optimizations for Indian carriers (like Jio, Airtel, Vi)

These extra checks can add a week or two delay before pushing the final OTA.

---

📅 4. Typical Delay Duration

Usually:

Europe or Korea: First to get update

India: 7–21 days later

So if One UI 8 (Android 15) began rolling out on 2nd October 2025, you can expect it around mid to late October 2025 in India.
