Why does the call dialer doesn't show recent contacts

It's too common nowadays to have dialers with half screen occupying recent call logs and another half with the dialpad.

It's annoying to not been quickly able to dial or find previously called numbers. (not just last called) 

Is there any way this can be enabled?

Bro, it's so easy. To call the last person you called, just click on the call button in the dial pad and the last called number will show up and click the call button again.

Be a bit smart and to survive in a phone, you need to know some tricks.

First thing first, I am using android phones from last 15 years. So I guess I am qualified enough to say - I know android inside and out. I have flashed the firmware myself on several devices and brought to life after bricking it.

Do you know you can search for a contact name by pressing just numbers, if not then know that I am doing that my entire life and most people doesn't know it exist.

the question is not about the last dialed person. What about missed calls? Do you still press the call button. I guess no.

Its much more convenient and make sense to have it. It's there in every other phone, why not in samsung.

First things first, I know that trick of searching people by just dialling numbers. Did you know that if you tap the build number of your Samsung phone 7 times and you put your authentication factor, you get developer options which let you get some useful features for security.

If the missed call is the last call made in your call log, then you can press the call button and do so.

Recent tab, choose first contact is easy n touch screen.
