I have an app called Internet Speed Meter Lite which displays a persistent notification (meaning I cannot dismiss it) in my notification panel showing my mobile data and Wi-Fi usage for that day. But when I turn on Do not disturb mode on my phone, the persistent notification from the app does not go away. It stays there. So I thought that maybe persistent notifications are not hidden by the Do not disturb mode. But I use another app called Notification Maker, which is a reminder app, which also displays persistent notifications. The only way that I can remove the persistent notifications from this app is to click on the downward arrow at the right of the notification (see the screenshot below) and click 'Finish' to dismiss the notification. Otherwise simply swiping the notification does not dismiss the notification. So I consider it a persistent notification. Turning on Do not disturb mode does hide the persistent notifications from this app but not from Internet Speed Meter Lite. Why is the Do not disturb mode hiding persistent notifications from only some apps? Why doesn't it hide all the notifications? I don't want even a single notification in my notification panel while Do not disturb mode is enabled in my phone. Is there any setting which I can enable which hides all of the notifications when Do not disturb mode is enabled?

Do not disturb mode does not hide the persistent notification from Internet Speed Meter Lite but it hides the notifications from Notification Maker

Do not disturb mode disabled

Why doesn't Do not disturb mode hide the notifications from this app? I have not even enabled 'Ignore Do not disturb' for this app.

So why does it hide the 'sticky notifications' from Notification Maker?
