What does this mean ?

I am in Samsung Members app and there is this message showing stating - "Protect your phone with Samsung Care+, 203 days left"

Can anyone explain this message ?

Is my phone under some kind of warranty or do I need to register to avail one ?

203 is number of days left for your warranty to get expire.
Samsung care+ is additional warranty that you can take for your device with new terms and conditions.

Yes. Standard warranty that comes with new device. It might be 1 year from date of purchase.
