Has anyone else noticed on their smartphone that sometimes an unwanted app is intalled on their phone, even without their permission. This has happened thrice to me. I unlock my phone and suddenly see a new app, which I never installed or downloaded. Installing bloatware through the software updates was still manageable, but this is unacceptable. My device is A50 and the app was MX Takatak.

Try turning off all customisations services on your phone.
You may do this by going in settings

I have it disabled. I never enabled it in the first place.

It may happen beacause while updating apps through Galaxy store. It also auto selects other apps to get install. Make sure you unselect those items.

Yes, I always skip those apps. But that case would have arised if I would have updated/downloaded apps through the Galaxy Store. It happens on its own. The last time it happened, I was scrolling thorugh my phone and suddenly the welcome screen of the app popped up. Then I got to know that an app had been installed without my permission.

Check feature of auto-update apps over WiFi/Cellular Data.
