Hello All

I need help, I just inherited a Samsung A53 and have noticed that when I plug my Usb-Type C cable so that I can access the phone memory, I only have one option to charge. What is the reason or how do I resolve this. I thought it's an easy plug and show kinda thing. Thanks Siya

Hi ngonidzashe. I have tried with both a cable for the charger from Honor phone and used my daughter's Samsung cable but when I used a C to C cable it worked but the issue is I don't have a C to C machine to use..

Wnable Developer....Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap "Build number" seven times to enable Developer Options.

Navigate to Settings > Developer Options and check the "Default USB Configuration" setting. Set it to "File Transfer" or "MTP."

If you're using a Windows PC, ensure you have the latest Samsung USB drivers installed. You can download them from Samsung's website.

🙏 thanks for the info. Will try it out, didn't think about Samsung drivers on the PC. It's running the latest version of Windows 11.. Will enable the Developers options. Thanks again
