Charge problems...

For about a year my A24 charged properly, since last month it's no more charging type c to c. It can charge USB type A to C but it's very slow. I used a 25W samsung adapter, then that stopped, used Volkano, 20W type c cable worked for few weeks until that stopped. My device only recognise the Volkano adapter but it frequently stops charge and starts again, sometimes draining it.

I read somewhere something about devices having problems with PD Trigger so they have problems with C to C cables but A to C doesn't require PD trigger. 

Anyone else have this problem? I know people who had same problem with A14, A25 and A34. The "Fast Charging" and "Super Fast Charging" also disappeared and I updated software but it still just says "Charging" sometimes even without approximate full charge time.

What could be the problem?

If your Samsung smartphone doesn't charge, check the USB-C port for debris or moisture and try charging with a different adapter and cable. If neither of those solutions work, you may have to replace the phone's charge port or battery.

Also use a 45w adapter, c to c is super fast, so you'll need a compatible adapter for that. Also if your device is heating when charging, if temperature reaches a certain point charging will be possed until the device cools down....

I have 45W samsung charger, doesn't do anything. The Volkano adapter has Type A and C outlets, type C used to work but it doesn't anymore. I can only use type A outlet but the 18W doesn't come through properly, it charges very slow. Today it told me from 50% to full charge is 2hr 21mins.

The Samsung ones used to work fast, after that stopped working, the screen no more shows "Super Fast Charging".. It just says "Charging Started"

I updated software last year like October or November... In December it still charged normal but weeks later the problem started. I updated to One UI 6.1 after and the Charging kinda slowed down more I think.. I am not sure if the software is what caused everything or like other A series phones it's all just failing now.

Mmmm you can have your charging port checked at a service center, they should be able to solve that if that's the case

Unfortunately no.. I didn't take it to get checked out coz I reached out to samsung, I asked if they'd check if there's something wrong with the phone they said yes, I asked about if they'd charge me for it and got no answer. But I was told to take proof of purchase there when I am going but I lost mine so, I can't take it
