Galaxy A"Something similar is happening with my Samsung Galaxy M51. Although it's a bit of an older device, there were no issues with it until now. I purchased this phone 2 years ago. However, just after receiving the recent security update of July 1, 2023, the problems started. On the first day, I noticed some of my apps were crashing, so I rebooted my phone, and it temporarily resolved the issue. However, after a few minutes, I noticed the same issue was happening again. I thought there might be a problem with my SD card, so I transferred my app data to my internal storage.
After an hour or two, while watching a video, my entire screen started flickering with something like a reddish-green overlay. On the first day, it was temporary and fixed itself automatically, but the next day when I woke up, my entire screen was glowing, especially on black screens where the pixels are supposed to be turned off. The flickering issue is still there, and it alternates between returning to its natural color and persisting. I attempted to factory reset my device, which temporarily resolved the issue, but it's still present.
I'm unable to find a proper solution anywhere on how to fix this problem. It's quite frustrating, especially since I'm accustomed to watching movies and shows on OLED displays, and this issue is getting on my nerves. I've never dropped my phone or exposed it to water, so there's no chance of physical damage. I also use a sturdy flip cover with a tempered glass screen protector.
As a student, I don't have the means to buy a new smartphone every year, and my family won't provide the funds for it either. I urge Samsung to address this issue if it's related to their software. We're fed up with these problems."
