Hi everyone.

I am facing an issue since evening. Some random apk is trying to get installed. The apk is named prePost.apk. i feel its a virus. I tried to scan my phone but it shows secure. What should i do

delete the apk using my files, if you feel like it might be a virus.

I am cancelling it whenever it starts to install. But it keeps on poping up again and again. I don't have any apk in myfiles. I checked all the installed apps, nothing there.

did you download it or any other apk from the internet recently ?

No.. it came out of nowhere.

ohk it might be a system app or a apk related to system or samsung apps

I don't have any apk of the said name in my files explorer

check all these below settings

1) first open galaxy store>settings >disable marketing choice

2) set "never" to auto update app

3) go to customisation service >disable galaxy store from there

and whenever you update galaxy store or reset your device, and after that if you open Galaxy store you will get the option as i attached image, so untick all in recommendation and untick for marketing choice
